This
year for the first time in its 19 year history Glasgow building Presservation
Trust have organised associated events to take place from Monday 15th
to Friday 19th September, including for example demonstrations of traditional
building skills, talks, exhibitions, walks and much more! For this
celebration, Visual Statement have been asked by Glasgow Building Preservation
Trust and Door's Open Festival to participant. On Sunday 21 September
2008 between 12 - 4pm at Provanhall House, as a stunning backdrop Visual
Statement Children's Theatre Company and Adult Dance Company will perform
in the grounds a special selection of scenes from their successful modern
ballet Bird Bell Fish Tree. This modern ballet
brings life to "The armorial insignia of the City of Glasgow of 1647".
